Currently working as customer operations specialist in AIB, helping customers that are in financial difficulty

Worked as an employee for Barrett's Cash and Carry during the summer months from 2017 till 2019. During that time, I carried out many tasks, such as cleaning, stocking shelves, stock taking, do up and deliver orders to customers.

During TY, I did work experience in my local T.D.s' office training as a receptionist. In that time, I carried out many tasks involving desk work, such as filing documents, took phone calls on behalf of my employer, sent letters to individuals and local businesses in the town, arranged meetings between local people and Dara Calleary T.D. with their queries. I gained lots of new experience and skills from it such as communication, organisational, and people skills.

I was part of the first student bank set up in my local secondary school, St. Muredach’s College. The student bank was in partnership with the local Bank of Ireland branch in Ballina, Co. Mayo. During my time, I helped set up students with student bank accounts, handled cash and worked with Bank of Ireland staff with setting up accounts and lodging students money into there accounts through the school, as well as promoting the school bank. In recognition for my work in the student bank, I received the Bank of Ireland Student of the Year award in April 2014 for the best student banker in the school.
