CurrentThrives with diverse teams from multiple factories in North America to lead improvements on processes and data. Oversaw all major Cost Improvement Projects (CIP) to ensure timely completion, budgetary compliance, and monitoring of key results for expected savings for the San Marcos factory. I directly oversaw at least 50 projects and lead 4 myself each year. Initially brought on the team for fabrication, paint, and assembly support. This included the daily line support, improvements to work flow processes (poke yoke, design/make jigs and fixtures). Additionally led 6S, Kaizen, Greenbelt, and Lean continuous improvement projects.• Led team to improve fabrication efficiency and CNC utilization to make room for twice as much production, which reduced the overhead by 15%• Started factory’s first CIP (Cost Improvement Program) where we saved the factory over $1 million per year for 4 years.• Started the first IP66 rated LED subassembly line in the Philips Lighting North American factories.• Interim Fabrication and Paint Manager during transition periods.• Led multiple internal and external audits and Maintenance teams on major internal projects. Assisted in Maintenance scheduling for internal tasks.• Made multiple factory and department layout redesigns, often leading the teams in charge of the changes (both internal and external).
