Primary duties include:Generating engineering documentation, SOP's, Drawings, PPM routines.Monitoring and replenishing critical spare part levels.Supervision of team of multi-disciplined maintenance engineers and all outside contractors & service agents.Involved in project works, Continuous Improvement initiatives and install/commissioning of new machinery.Promote, and improve H&S culture.Active member of budgeting team for R&M and CAPEX projects.Work closely with all department leaders to ensure all KPI's are achieved.

Providing cover for Engineering Manager in his absence.

Stand in to supervise team on nightshift after Manager left the company.Oversee all production and maintenance requirements to continue normal operation of equipment through the night, from warehousing & tea blending, to production lines then finished goods. Completing all relevant documentation including end of shift reports, attendance cards, holiday requests etc.

Providing proactive and reactive maintenance techniques on a variety of production, packaging and printing machines to ensure attainment of plant production targets, quality standards and KPI’sLead Team Engineer, responsible for reacting to breakdowns and delegating tasks & skills for rapid response to line stoppagesLiaise with production Line Manager to agree schedules for PPM’s to optimise machine efficiencies and minimise downtime

Lead a team of Mechanical fitters and Electricians to effectively respond to machine breakdowns, minimising downtime to obtain production KPI’sLiaise with all level’s of management to match PPM requirements against running targets

Assisted with installation & commissioning of Battery Cell machinery, working in cleanroom conditionsPart of small maintenance team, responsible for highly automated bespoke machinery, including two and three axis robots, servo presses and ultrasonic welding equipment

Successfully completed Maintenance Engineering Modern ApprenticeshipResponsible for maintaining wide range of production machinery, including PLC conveyors and pneumatic systemsTwice selected to travel to Italy for manufacturer trainingTransferred to 24-7 shift pattern, adapting easily and continued excellent attendance and punctuality record
