Administering Legal Liability claims , conducting investigations and preparing claims for submission to insurers with instructions and guidance , articulating L&Q's perspective..liaising with insurers and other representatives in order to bring about a satisfactory outcome of claims.

Assisting claims broker with backlog of diary, liaising with insurers on behalf of commercial clients, updating reserves and closing claims as appropriate.

Large and Complex Losses - Household Domestic claims including legal liability and litigated cases.

I began as a claims handler for former Municipal Mutual Insurance, Westminster which was dissolved and it's business taken over by Zurich Municipal in 1992. My experience was in processing and defending legal liability claims against Local Authorities predominantly in Greater London, plus housing associations and community based organisations. I handled Employers liability, RTA, and public liability and officials indemnity claims, a high proportion of which were litigated. This entailed attending pre- trial conferences with barristers & council officials and sometimes civil action trials.

Became a section leader on Motor and property claims.
