Authorized college-level bid waivers, accounting for state statutes and college contracts. Ensured Payment Card Industry compliance. Led finacial aspects and SEC negotiations of $550 million IPO and sale two years later for $1.4 billion to America Online and WorldComVP and Corporate Controller & Assistant Controller, CompuServe, Inc.Key Achievements:● Assisted in negotiations and contract review to close a $1.2 billion sale of CompuServe to WorldCom and AOL.● Directed financial reporting efforts to attain a $500 million initial public offering.● Successfully facilitated payroll implementation of PeopleSoft.
