This position is a combination of two positions, one being the Independent Living Skills Specialist and the other being a Housing Assistant. The ILSS provides social support, skills training, and assistance with independent living within the residential environment. They also promote cooperation and harmony in the communal living situation, uphold, and promote the social rehabilitation philosophy in all duties performed. The Housing Assistant assists the Program Managers with the daily business operations and provides direct client services as needed.

The Business Operations Specialist analyzes new projects, systems, and tools to determine operational requirements and impact across all stakeholders. This position identifies, recommends, maps and documents new procedures and processes required for project implementation. The role works closely with Project and Operations Managers across the company to drive implementation planning. Involved in multiple areas of business operations within an organization. Analyze and resolve business operations issues and needs. Provide quality control to business operations. Develop and implement business plans, policies, and procedures. Evaluate results within business units to determine if organizational objectives are being met.

As a Technical Support Specialist I had the opportunity to provide technical assistance and training to clients on the MINDBODY software by performing the following duties:Providing quality service to clients as required to meet client expectations and needs.Assist with creating an internal Knowledge Centered Support processes to accurately maintain knowledge bases that assist answering client questions.Resolving client problems related to services or the software product via: phone, chat, and email.Educating clients on product features or additional services to meet their needs. Communicating all bugs to the Quality Assurance and Development Teams. Documenting client interactions.

Shopatron, an e-commerce services provider offering orders placed on a manufacturer's website to a team of dealers, then monitors those orders through delivery to the customer. As a member of a two-person Fulfillment Operations Team, I was responsible for overseeing the performance of approximately 3,000 retailers. In this role, I approved applications for new retailer accounts, reviewed reports on fulfillment issues, assisted retailers with orders, and remediated retailers who violated corporate policies and procedures. Other experience included creating training materials for staff members, presenting training Webinars to retailers, and suggesting improvements to the software tools used to monitor retailer performance.

The Fulfillment Support team provided support services included troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance. As well as supporting Fulfillers understanding of the software as well as corporate policies and procedures.

Responsible for purchasing all materials required to manufacture OEM orthotics, office supplies/equipment, landscaping, janitorial, and maintenance/repair services. Experience covered all facets of the purchasing position, including requesting quotes, reviewing quotes/bids, tracking and rating vendor performance, and expediting orders. During my time with DeRoyal, I also initiated a program for finding less expensive sources that resulted in an annual savings of over $100,000.

Responsible for assembling component parts according to the design specifications.

As a working partner, many of the day-to-day operations of the business were my responsibility. GMR Manufacturing was a sub-contracting vendor that worked exclusively for DeRoyal Industries. Believing there would be more opportunities for advancement with a large corporation, I sold my partnership in GMR to pursue a career with DeRoyal's San Luis Obispo division.

As Office Manager, my responsibilities included scheduling appointments, formatting and sending bids for client approval, processing accounts receivable, performing account reconciliation, and purchasing office supplies and landscaping materials. I also acted as relief receptionist and supervised a small office staff.

In this position, I performed all accounts payable duties, including vendor negotiations and account reconciliation.
