I am currently working in a technical role on Aviva's main General Insurance application platform, with a special focus on systems analysis and webservice integration in an SOA environment.I am the owner of the technical integration documents between our application and systems providing services such as e.g. premium rating, complaints handling, print management, address lookup, payment processing.I am also responsible for liaising with business support team in relation to assessing impact of functional change on our interface contracts, and to provide technical analysis of any production incidents.I have developed a bespoke Java-based test harness in order to provide an independent platform to generate premium rating requests and other webservice requests to allow for verification of our interfaces, premiums etcInitially on the startup and build phase of the project, I worked as an IT Consultant on the project from 2006 before transferring to the application team with Aviva in 2010.Technologies:• SOAP Webservices, Java, Oracle, XML & XSD design, IBM Websphere
