As the Founder of MOR Associates, I oversaw the firm’s strategic expansion into a top leadership development firm in the U.S. MOR has worked with over 10,000 leaders from national institutions and corporations. More importantly, these experiences result in game-changing and transformational outcomes for participants. These programs also create leadership communities that have a shared language and tool set that fosters increased collaboration across what might have been previously organizational and political boundaries.I started MOR on the foundational belief that people at all levels within an organization have the potential to “lead from where they are.” If you define leading as a set of behaviors rather than a role or title people can step up, take initiative, and contribute more readily. This core idea of “leading from where you are” developed into one of our leadership courses and became a company mantra. Core beliefs: • People have enormous unrealized potential; my job as a workshop leader and executive coach is to help them realize their undeveloped potential.• The most effective leadership coaches do not transform people; they create the optimal environment that motivates, empowers, and builds confidence so that people can do the “work on self” that they are invested in.• Immersive experiences and applied learning lead to more sustainable improvements than short, one-time trainings.Today, I serve as a Senior Consultant to the MOR Associates team, which has grown from a handful of team members in 1983 to over 35 experienced, dedicated coaches, program leaders and staff with over 1,000 years of combined experience. Brian’s passion about providing people with the opportunity and means to explore their untapped potential is what gets him up every morning. He starts each day with renewed energy, looking forward to engaging people in discovering what they could and may yet be.
