Engineering systems engineer - Masters graduate in Computer Aided Engineering Design with a BTech in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Operationally supported all the engineering programmes worldwide via remote support (Including UK, America, Canada, Germany, Poland, China, India) to over 800 users. Experience of Solidworks, AUTOCAD, Enterprise PDM and responsible for installation, upgrades and maintenance. Global ICT project management and IT Helpdesk support via ticket system request and asset management system. Calls assigned and resolved within fixed service level agreements. Active Directory experience which is demonstrated where I provided administration rights to various users/groups creating files, modifying/deleting accounts. Bespoke programmes (technical applications) debug, upgrade and rewrite. Converted VB6 to VB.net and used Visual Studio 2010. Administrator and created installation procedures and user manuals. Built the PCs/Laptops and dealt with all the hardware and software updates/developments. Supported staff during the installation process and with any helpdesk enquires. Previously I had to project manage the upgrade of SOLIDWORKS globally. Worked with the LANDesk team. Created the scripts that allowed the software to download and install onto various PCs worldwide. Introduced the new technology across the live system worldwide and had to consider the impact across the organisation, in particular due to working in different time zones from the various other parts of the organisation.
