Responsibilities:• Upon receiving a production order, make a design workbook in excel that houses all the information needed to create a set of prints. ie – motor sizes, VFD sizes, overall amp draw, inputs and outputs needed to control electrical and pneumatic components.• Design electrical and pneumatic prints based off of the production order and design workbook, any discrepancies should be brought to the attention of my supervisor as well as the project manager.• When prints are completed, issue a copy of the electrical and pneumatic prints to the electrical supervisor, and a copy of the pneumatic prints to the assembly supervisor. E-mail the appropriate people regarding the prints being issued.• Nearing the completion of a project, I must get with the electrical supervisor to see if there were any changes or mistakes (Red lines), I then update the prints with this information.• Create a DVD manual using Autoplay Menu Designer, This is an in depth menu designer that allows full customization of the main menu, any screens you want to add, pictures, videos, button layout, email integration, and webpage integration. • Create a book style manual for each machine that goes out for the customer. This manual will include general maintenance, suggested safety practices, a breakdown of how to operate the machine section by section with pictures, operation of the remote operators panel human machine interface, as well at electrical and pneumatic prints and mechanical drawing.• Revisions made to the prints based off of changes provided by the customer and/or the project manager after the machine has shipped must be handles immediately and the changed need to be sent to the customer so they can update their manual.• Design new electrical brackets to be more effective and cost efficient than the old style, and also redesign old brackets to be more efficient and cost effective.

Responsibilities:• Maintain all parts coming in and going out of the panel room.• Check all orders that come to the electrical department against packing slips.• Maintain all surplus parts on the shelf.• Receive bill of materials check sheets from purchasing and check against current surplus parts, reply with email depicting any parts we currently have in the building.• Build panel inserts and various electrical panels per the prints and layouts.• Work closely with electrical design to improve panel assembly.• Monitor emails regarding panel related topics.• Ensure that any parts that leave the panel room have been checked out on the proper check out list.• Ensure that any commodities needed are ordered through the supervisor.• Meet with supervisor, shop foreman to ensure current deadlines are met.• Assist the electrical team on the shop floor if needed.• Help to install inserts into the appropriate panels.• Wire incoming wires from the machine once the panel is in place.• Train team members on proper wiring techniques.• Ensure that the main panel meets UL codes as well as customer preferences.• Assist with any building maintenance that need attention.• Relieve supervisor workload whenever possible.

Also helpanswer any questions • Relieve supervisor workload whenever possible.
