I am a time served machinist with 20+ years experience within the manufacturing industry. I gained an NC in Engineering Practice and gained my SVQ level 3 in Engineering Practice at the end of my 4 year apprenticeship.Over the years I gained experience working within sub contract, and Oil and Gas industries. I have knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhien and Mazak controls within milling and turning.I have worked with a variety of machines over the years, Lathes, Mills, Gear Cutting machines, Water Cutting and also CMM inspection equipment.I have used CAD and CAM packages over the years. Edgecam and Solidworks being the most common.Striving to better myself in any position I have been in has seen me work my way up in different companies to Technical Manager, Production Supervisor and Manufacturing Supervisor.After a year and a half as Production Manager at DMI Precision, I was given the opportunity to further my skills as Project Planner at Had Fab which I’m very much enjoying working with a great team and company.
