He would describe himself as reliable, self-motivated, flexible with good communication and organisational skills.Brian has worked in sales environment at EE, Northern Electric and Johnson Apparel Master, including working at public relations company.Brian has a degree in Business Studies, HND’s in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering and is a qualified Electrical Engineer of a Mine (statutory qualification), he also carried out research for NEI (bought by Rolls Royce) at Durham University as a real time computer programmer leading to a MSc.Brian is the former Deputy Electrical Engineer at Oakdale Colliery in the South Wales coalfield, an automation engineer for several companies, managing projects from concept through to implementation.Brian has formed and run a number of companies including setting up an office in Xi’an in central China. His companies have included the largest commercial laundry in Newcastle, international student recruitment and a printing company.Brian has supported a number of business owners with their dealing with asset based lenders, with major banks including Lloyds, RBS and Metro. He formed Regulation Asset Based Finance to lobby for reform of business banking.Brian is a former European/Parliamentary candidate and a former Newcastle City councillor.
