-Collaborated to design, build and race a formula one car.-Designed and installed an automatic shifting system and RPM controlled air intake.-Programmed microcontrollers in C referencing registers and bit addresses.-Prototyped a circuit to integrate the microcontroller signals with the mechanical system.

-Worked in a team of three to investigate the mechanical properties of cartilage.-Researched articles pertaining to articular cartilage and current medical applications of materials for cartilage repair.-Developed a mathematical model of articular cartilage in tension and compression.-Produced a report of our research and modeling.-Presented a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the key findings of our research.

-Worked in a team of five to design and build a motorized projectile toy with optimized specifications.-Lead the analysis of our concept. Listed all of its subsystems and parts to determine the key factors that control its performance.-Analyzed the key factors further to determine possible sources of failure and their effect on the performance of the design.-Tested our prototype in multiple configurations to determine the optimal settings of its key components, including accuracy of the projectile mechanism and the motor function.

-Worked in a team of four to design and build a 2D plotter including programming, electronic and mechanical subsystems.-Headed the electronic portion of the project. Built and adjusted circuits using relays, switches and amplifiers to integrate the mechanical parts of our system with the microprocessor.-Developed design concepts for the mechanical portions of the plotter and analyzed them to find potential failure points.-Manually machined and joined parts with precision.

-Worked in a team of four to research the mechanisms responsible for lower back pain related to manual lifting.-Appointed project coordinator. Divided tasks and monitored progress to ensure on-time completion of the project.-Created a formal research proposal with a detailed project plan.-Created a model of the human body to calculate the stress created on the lower back.-Presented a PowerPoint presentation regarding proper lifting techniques with evidence to support our recommendations.

-Coordinated a team of 18 members to build a modular system comprised of a vehicle moving through 5 separate stations before being launched.-Responsible for creating parts and subsystems to integrate each station together seamlessly. Designed and built tracks, vehicle support platforms and a vehicle storage unit.-Assisted with design of the stations to ensure effective integration with our prototypes.-Placed first in a competition against other teams with similar mechanisms.

-Worked in a team of four to research multiple methods of power generation and determine the optimal solution for Ontario Power Generation (OPG).-Researched the performance, environmental impact and operation costs of a nuclear facility to compare against other power generation methods studied by team members.-Analyzed and processed the data from each team member to compare quantities from each power generation method on an equal level.-Created a report highlighting key data requested by both OPG and our professor.-Presented a PowerPoint summary of our report, including recommendations to OPG with supporting numerical evidence.
