Brian Murphy is a Perth-based partner at Bain & Company. He leads Bain's Energy and Natural Resources Practice across the Asia-Pacific region. He also leads Bain’s Sustainability and Responsibility (ESG) Practice across the Asia-Pacific Region. Brian joined Bain in 1999 and works mainly with clients in the energy, mining, resources and industrial sectors. Brian has led a wide range of projects with an emphasis on energy transition, new energy growth, strategy, technology and innovation, sustainability, and performance transformation. Brian has also held a number of leadership roles in Bain's people development, mentoring and global training areas.Brian received a PhD in Mathematics from Australian National University, and a Bachelor of Science, First Class Honours in Pure Mathematics from the University of Western Australia.
