Brian Murphy currently serves as Vice President at HUB International New England, LLC, one of North America’s largest insurance brokerage organizations. An employee of the firm since 1977, he is responsible for the sales and service of commercial and personal property and casualty, individual life and disability products. He is involved in many of the company’s specialty programs, including one with a focus on Public Entity Insurance and one targeting Auto Dealerships.  Mr. Murphy is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and holds his insurance broker’s license in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Hampshire. He is a Licensed Insurance Advisor in Massachusetts. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.  He is currently an active member of many community and professional associations and groups including the following: President of Somerset Insurance Underwriters Association, Member of Supervisory Committee of Somerset Federal Credit Union, and a Board Member of the South Coast Insurance Association. Formerly he was an eight year member of the Somerset School Committee serving three years as Chairperson, and the Town of Somerset Advisory & Finance Committee for five years serving as Vice Chairperson.
