Brian is a geotechnical engineer with over 12 years of experience in the civil engineering industry. He is currently employed by Thurber Engineering Ltd., and resides in Calgary, AB. In his current role, his daily tasks include project management, planning and executing geotechnical investigations, preparing proposals, completing geotechnical analyses and designs, advising clients on geotechnical matters, providing construction support, and mentoring junior engineers. Brian’s project experience spans several different industry sectors such as water resources, municipal infrastructure, tunnels, buildings, bridges, roads, highways, railways, heavy civil construction, environmental remediation, and the oil and gas industry.
