Thurber Engineering Ltd. is a Canadian consulting firm wholly-owned by senior practising professionals. The company was founded in 1957, and has grown to employ over 500 engineers, geoscientists and technologists in 15 offices across Canada, providing a variety of Geotechnical, Geo-Environmental and Materials Engineering and Testing Services. Our staff are led by a core group of senior principals, specialists, and practising professionals who have many years of practical experience in a variety of technical specialties. They are supported by a dedicated project staff of engineers, scientists and technologists, who have access to our laboratory facilities, specialized field-testing equipment, innovative field instrumentation and state-of-the-art computer analysis techniques.
