I combine a technical background (Delft University of Technology) with an interest and capabilities in managing infrastructure projects.I obtained my Master of Science degree in 2006 from the Technical University in Delft (the Netherlands), where I specialized in Hydraulic and Geotechnical engineering. My professional experience includes working on settlement control at the New Metro Rail Project in Perth, Australia, for Keller Ground Engineering. Starting in 2006, I worked at engineering consultancy company Witteveen+Bos on a metro tunnel project in Amsterdam, the Noord/Zuidlijn. At this project, I held three positions, the first being project manager of compensation grouting. In this position (2006 -2012) I was responsible for overseeing the minimization of settlements of historically significant buildings. As of 2010 - 2012, I was also project manager of monitoring, responsible for the proper functioning of the monitoring system of 3.8 km of bored tunnel as well as four underground stations along the tunnel trace. Third I was a project manager on the Emergency exits $20M. Overseeing time, quality, and budget management of construction. Paying close attention to surroundings (area management) to ensure the safe and smooth accommodation of construction sites 40 meters below the surface and less than 5 meters from 17th century buildings.Specialties: Project management, specialised in ground/foundation works and monitoring at large infrastructural projects such as metro tunnels.
