I have always been passionate about architecture and design, and strive to join my background in biology, project management and owner's representation with my interests in efficient design and community spaces. As a designer, my focus is on program and functionality. Through my owners' representation experience in the science & technology sector, I developed an understanding of the needs and wishes of my clients, and became an excellent listener capable of giving them exactly what they needed.A large influence on me was my undergraduate study of ecosystems, which has led me to view the built environment as a unique ecosystem that impacts us while we also play a crucial role in shaping it. My design work is environmentally driven, with a goal of supporting the harmonious relationship between people and place. My architectural passion lies in creating spaces that bring people together and enhances the lives and experiences of entire communities. This has led to my interests in large scale, community oriented spaces, especially civic projects that bring people together. Throughout my life, I have also been a passionate athlete and sports enthusiast. I love how sports bring people together for the purpose of enjoyment, and how being at a game can create its own atmosphere. Thus, my dream job would be to design stadiums and literally help create that atmosphere for communities.
