I’m currently employed as a Cyber Security professional with Maritime Applied Physics Corporation. I have studied at University of Maryland Global Campus to earn a Master’s in Cybersecurity Technology. I have a wealth of job experience and leadership to draw on from my background in the Marine Corps as a Data Network Specialist and Maryland Live! Casino as a Table Games Dual-Rate Supervisor. My job experience is supplemented by my two Bachelor’s degrees, a BA in Theater from McDaniel College and a BS in Computer Networks and Cybersecurity from University of Maryland University College.Maintaining network devices during a year long deployment taught me how to provide IT solutions as well as improvising solutions with limited resources whenever necessary, allowing to me to assist the Regiment in earing Presidential and Naval citations for excellence. Four years of experience at Maryland Live! helped me to develop effective methods for calming unhappy guests and tracking amounts of up to $500,000 for up to 8 hours at a time.I will stay on task even during stressful or difficult work situations and always try to find positives from negative situations.
