Lead all on-site activities performed by our EPC contractor (and all subs) beginning at groundbreaking through to commissioning and acceptance. maintain strong emphasis on quality construction as well as safety and environment to reliably complete, commission and prove the world's first full-scale CSP molten salt power tower. Coordinate site activities among overall Project Director, CSP systems engineering team, Asset Manager, O&M Contractor and corporate functions. SolarReserve proprietary technology utilizes molten nitrate salts as the primary heat transfer fluid and bulk storage medium. On an average day, the Tonopah facility will collect in excess of 3,000 megawatt hours (thermal) of solar energy at nearly 1,100 degrees F, converting this to 1,100 MWh (electrical) in a nearly 40% efficient reheat steam cycle.
