I was born in Pittsburgh, PA, but for the last twenty years I have been living in beautiful, sunny Orlando, FL. I moved to Orlando in September 2004 to attend Full Sail University where I obtained my Associate of Science Degree in Film and Video Production. As a motivated and enthusiastic graduate, I wanted to join the workforce as soon as possible. In 2006, I was hired to work at Discovery Cove as videographer and photographer. If you are not familiar with Discovery Cove, it is a resort in Orlando, Florida, owned by United Parks & Resorts, where guests can meet a dolphin! To this day, I still say this was my favorite job I ever had. What made it special is that I met my wife there and now we have been married for eleven years.In 2008, I was promoted to Assistant Supervisor in the Photo Department at SeaWorld Orlando. I held that role until 2014 when a brand-new position was created, aligning with my skills and talents. In June 2014, I was given the opportunity to grow my career with a second promotion to Visual Arts Merchandise, Sr. In this role I was put in charge of creating all signage for the Merchandise Department at SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando and Discovery Cove Orlando. I have been in this role now for ten years and I have created a lot of content that has helped the company advertise promotions and enhance the visual aesthetics of their gift shops.While still in my role, I attended Southern New Hampshire University as a part-time student online to obtain my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Advertising. I took advantage of my company's tuition reimbursement program and had 85% of my degree paid by the company. I started in May 2014 and graduated in January 2018. I was so glad I did it!Many may ask why I have been with United Parks & Resorts for so long and it's because I wanted to be a part of a company that does good in the world. SeaWorld does so many good things for animals locally and all of over the world through their rescue and rehabilitation efforts.Outside of work I am an avid CrossFitter. I am a member of CrossFit MouseTrap and love attending every class I can. I was never a person that liked to work out, but with constant persuasion from my friend I gave it a try. It took me a while to really like it, about six weeks, but once I started to see results, I was hooked.I also attend Real Life Christian Church in Orlando, Florida. My wife and I are on the production team. I run the lighting, and she controls the content on the screens. We both really love serving our church!I am always looking for a new challenge and adventure!
