I am a self-starter who consistently meets deadlines while juggling different priorities.  Set up new fixed assets.o Updated settlement rules and moved costs to Fixed Assets.o Worked with Project Controls to close projects.o Updated assets as requested by business unit.o Participated in the yearly useful life review. Recorded all asset sales and derecognitions. Collaborated with business unit on AUC review to ensure that all commissioned projects are being depreciated and that they are excluded from the capitalized interest calculation. Completed monthly account reconciliations.o Supported for business unit to resolve any unexplained variances. Completed PPE continuity schedule monthly to identify any trends or issues. Prepared year end PPE continuity schedule which was used for the Annual Report. Booked DDA accrual monthly for projects which are commissioned, but not in fixed assets. Submitted DDA jobs to post the depreciation for fixed assets. Provided variance analysis for depreciation expense for business unit at month end. Released the funding in IM for all projects. Supported for business unit to resolve any unexplained variances. Responsible to support the business units Asset and DD&A reporting requirements.o Identified their report requirements and look for a report that will meet their needs. Processed sales invoices into accounts receivable.o Compiled reconciliation to find invoicing issues.o Follow up with companies on missing payment and invoice issues.o Reviewed aged invoices and identify potential collection problems. Worked with the Senior Month End Accountant to correct settlement issues on month and year end issues.and invoice

The Cornerstone project was Suncor’s conversion to SAP. My role was to work with the Business Units to ensure the data file that they sent would successfully load into fixed assets. * Worked with the various Business Units, to ensure that the file could be successfully loaded with no errors and that GL balanced between the two systems. * Ran program to load assets into the Fixed Asset Module. o Checked to see if there were any errors on the job run. I followed up with the Business Unit and the SAP Business Analysts to resolve any errors. * Once the Fixed Assets were loaded o Reconciliation was performed to ensure that there were no issues with the conversion. * The reconciliation was sent to the Business Units for sign off.
