District Technology Director
Current- Provides district purchasing, installation, and implementation oversight of all technology related items.- Technology Integration and Instruction - provides all district instruction for staff,- Oversees deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all hardware and software.- Develops and implements IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.- Develops the IT budget, meeting with all instructional stakeholders to ensure maximum impact of expenditures.- Attends relevant educational conferences to maintain awareness of changing IT and instructional trends.- Researches, implements, and instructs staff on classroom use of instructional technology to improve instruction.- Configures, maintains, and upgrades the network to provide the most reliable, fast and secure network possible.- Analyzes complex educational needs and recommends technical solutions. Develops plans for implementation of new projects, coordinating process with committee leaders.- Oversees negotiation and administration of vendor, consultant and service contracts.
