As the Managing Director of IMG New Zealand, part of the Ekornes group, I lead the supply of quality recliners to the country's top retail brands. I have over 30 years of experience in the furniture industry, from manufacturing and designing to business development and management. I am a qualified upholsterer and a furniture expert, with a passion for creating beautiful and comfortable products.I started my career at 15, working in my father's furniture business and learning the craft of upholstery. I then embarked on an overseas adventure, where I managed a pub in London and tripled its food sales. I returned to New Zealand 2001 and established Preston’s Furniture with my father, then IMG Comfort in 2012, which was later acquired by Ekornes, the world leader in comfort, innovation, and sustainability. I am motivated by delivering excellence, building relationships, and growing the market for high-end recliners.
