Graphic Designer
CurrentWork closely with and build solid working relationships with creative director, product manager, production manager, supervisors, and printer to develop unique quality print communication materials, including brochures, space advertising, catalogs, inserts, packaging, point of purchase materials, specification sheets, collateral materials, logo/stationery design, signage, annual reports and posters within and outside the agency. Responsible for all aspects of print design from creation to delivery while satisfying expectations of the client. These aspects include planning, concepting, designing and brainstorming with client and creative director, advising client or program manager on aesthetic and technical ways to best meet the goals of the product and it’s distribution, presenting concepts to client, photo research and ordering from stock house representatives for image purchases, attend photo shoots, deciding on font usage and color scheme, create printing templates and mechanicals for final files, creating charts, diagrams, illustrations, work as a production artist to edit, finalize and collect all final files to be burned to a CD for printer, mark up final print outs for the printer with any instructions, discuss options with production manager and printer such as die cuts, varnishes, and paper selections to enhance the aesthetic of the final product, edit and approve print proofs from printer before printing.
