I love it!! Being outside with a line of players some playing in unison and some not, hearing the heads of the drums play out is just a great feeling. I firmly believe that rudimentary drumming is the main ingredient to playing drums and drum line is a large proponent to rudiment,dynamic, and rhythmic playing.

As a private instructor my satisfaction is not by how they play at the lesson or the next lesson but what they do with their skill afterwards out in the world. I have a pattern to where I teach 1 week on the drum kit and the next on a drum pad and continue that cycle. I do this one to keep a fresh approach, 2nd because I like to concentrate on just hands then to the feet. We all have different styles of teaching whatever works for you is best!

I am called to be with people as a percussionist I love to perform. Not so much to get glory or fame but to inspire and encourage. I approach teaching differently to every student. Why? Because every student is different and every student needs my 100 percent focus. This also flows with my mentoring, I want to be a vessel for every student, everyone has the capability to whatever they are called to do. Speaking in front of big crowds is vital to me because it gives me another approach than 1 on 1 communication. I can hit big topics to many people at 1 time which is very precise for me. I enjoy not only speaking on drum and percussion but God I am a Christian so anytime I get to tell my story and lead others to Christ that's always a blessing for me.
