CurrentProvides leadership and business operations support for independent practice.Develops and maintains strong working relationships with all key stakeholders to the practice.Schedules and directs staffing to meet needs of the practice.Facilitates regular department meetings.Monitors, tracks, and works with physicians on their quality metrics.Responsible for accounts receivable and payable and preparation of various financial reports.Oversee coding and billing team.Facilitates process improvement initiatives.Provides and promotes positive customer service and public relations.Conducts performance evaluations for staff on an annual basis.Ensures the department staff are compliant with all federal and state laws as well as practice policies and procedures.Responsible for seeing practice strategic and operational objectives are met.Takes active part in recruiting, onboarding, and training staff.Respects and maintains confidentiality.Ensures a safe, compliant, and ethical work environment.Manage office workflow and administration such as maintaining supply inventory and keeping expense accounts and other records updated.Work with outside contractor to ensure credentialing and payor enrollment for providers is completed.Evaluate and implement insurance for staff on annual basis.Administer insurance benefit information regarding enrollment procedures, plan specific details, and any plan changes; enrolls, changes, and terminates employee benefits as needed.Administer 401(k) information to new employees assisting with account setup and collection of salary deferral agreements and beneficiary documents.Backup for general administrative tasks, including registering patients, answering, and routing incoming telephone calls, and performing assigned filing, faxing, and copying as needed.Schedule, communicate, and complete items/activities timely and effectively.Perform other similar and related duties as required.
