As the Educational Technology (EdTech) & Innovation Manager at EIM, I am responsible for finding and implementing new technologies to enhance our curriculum development and delivery. I work closely with the Director of Curriculum Development & Design and various teams and experts to ensure that our programs are up-to-date and effective. I lead a team of UI/UX CSS Developers and provide training and materials to faculty to help them utilize these technologies. Overall, my focus is on improving the student experience through technology and innovation.

I also provide training to faculty on how to effectively use the Learning Management System to optimize student success and faculty efficiency. In addition, I work closely with the Curriculum Project Manager and Chief Academic Officer to assess instructional technology needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

At USU I was responsible for managing instructional design projects and working with faculty and other subject matter experts to conceptualize and create instructional materials for the Center for Innovative Design & Instruction (CIDI) and USU Extension. This involved both individual and collective efforts.

I worked on the development and organization of education resources at the World Health Organization Collaborating Center, including creating templates and a workflow for online instruction, participating in the development of 52 online modules, managing teams of experts and content editors, and implementing and improving module delivery on Learning Management Systems. I also implemented synchronous online communication strategies and documented webinars.

San Francisco Bay Area

I developed and implemented an organization-wide workflow for video editing of online instruction in various disciplines, trained over 25 Media Producers, served as the primary contact for solving video application issues, worked with professors to create instructional video presentations, managed teams to develop course content and structure, and excelled at remote work for over 6 years. I also built over 100 online courses, served as a project manager for up to 15 courses per year, trained 50+ faculty in online instruction, converted traditional courses for online delivery, and researched advances in internet-based course development and delivery.

I collaborated with the university president to create online video tutorials for faculty on the Blackboard Learning Management System and designed a comprehensive instruction manual for faculty. I also planned and documented activities for a US Department of Education grant, including recording discussions with content experts using video and photography. In addition, I created graphic designs for all Academic Technology Services documents and supported faculty and staff by troubleshooting multimedia needs and challenges. I also designed materials for faculty instructional modules and co-taught workshops on incorporating technology into instruction.

I conceptualized, created, and maintained the web presence for Finders Records and Tapes. I was responsible for creating the brand identity, logo, t-shirt design, advertisements, in-store signage, and a monthly email list with over 800 subscribers.
