Previously my team had a focus on Big Data where I worked on designing end to end solutions for our tenants using various parts of the hadoop ecosystem such as Spark Streaming, MapR Streams/Kafka, MapR DB/Hbase, etc. I designed a custom built monitoring application for our hadoop cluster that pulls in various types of data such as statistics from the job history server and resource manager. This data is then displayed at a tenant/queue level within a web ui with dashboards and visualizations. In addition, I administered an Elasticsearch cluster and provide support for the entire Elastic Stack(Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and Beats).
