Working with a highly skilled team of engineers and designers, I produced high-quality consumer products. Grovemade specializes in industrial design with an emphasis on making things “the hard way.” Grovemade practices lean manufacturing and kaizen- continual improvement and collaboration.

As an intern through Rogue Farm Corps, I am undergoing comprehensive training in small-scale organic farming. In addition to working full time at Fiddlehead Farm, I am completing courses in the various aspects of farming such as business management and soil biology.

I lead groups of 8-10 students through engaging educational programs using our 134-acre certified organic farm and nature preserve in the heart of Golden Gate National Recreation Area. I am creating dynamic curricula that meets Next Generation Science.

In addition to serving as a liaison between Green Plate Special and a pool of 40+ volunteers, I performed various sustainable agriculture skills such as managing the 3-bin compost system, seed propagation, chicken husbandry, and vegetable gardening.
