My expertise in social-emotional learning, paired with a Master of Education in Learning and Behavior Disorders, has allowed me to effectively manage student homes and contribute to the school's mission. By integrating diverse perspectives and experiences, I've strived to create an inclusive environment that reflects the values and culture of the organization.At Milton Hershey School, I honed skills in coaching, instructor-led training, and problem solving, which were instrumental in my role as Lead Houseparent. My responsibilities included overseeing daily operations, budget management, and coordinating parent partnerships. I led the development and implementation of social-emotional learning strategies, thereby enhancing the educational experience for multiple student homes, and I was pivotal in training new staff on behavior modification techniques.
