I love how stories bring families together. When I was younger, my family went to grab a dinner & a movie on weekends. It didn't matter what we watched — we just enjoyed the time together. My goal is to help other families connect through stories. Here's my journey so far:1) Films and TV shows that I've supported through production or development have garnered Oscars, Primetime Emmys, News & Documentary Emmys, Daytime Emmys, and even one Grammy, along with countless other nominations and wins. I agree that awards aren't everything, but they show that the project made an impact on somebody, even if it's just one person.2) I've personally been nominated for 3 Emmys so far - both regionally and nationally. One was for my documentary film "Victoria's Foil" on PBS and Roku, following a parafencer on her journey to the Paralympics while facing a degenerative condition and two were for my coverage of George Floyd's death. In all cases, I'm proud to have started conversations.3) Scripted, unscripted - it doesn't matter for me. I'm a storyteller with no format boundaries. I've helped produce commercials for global brands like Coca-Cola, Regal Cinemas, and Asiana Airlines and for small up-and-coming brands like Song Ryoo and AllTiny. I've supported fiction feature films. My favorite moment: my "acting debut" since the team needed background actors was on Cyberchase!, a beloved children's show. Yes, you can hear my voice in it!4) When I was deployed to South Sudan as part of South Korea's contingent for UNMISS (my military service), I designed and conducted a multi-week video and photo editing course for local journalists, working with them to build up multimedia skills, other than print. I spent my 21st birthday developing my public speaking skills in a foreign country and this has boosted my confidence going into my adult years. Talking about foreign countries, I've helped productions in 4 different continents! 5) I wouldn't say this to a recruiter, but I'd do my work for free. I love that I have an opportunity to bring people together and explore the human condition through entertainment.
