Manager of the Cryogenics Section. Responsible for 15 engineers and multiple programs. The programs range in size from $500K to > $2 million. Duties include technical oversight, staffing, process development, and recruiting. Proposal responsibilities include program bids, cost estimation, and architectural configurations that meet the customer’s requirements

Deputy IPTL for a tooling team of 20 engineers responsible for releasing over 200 drawings in a 6-month time frame. Worked with manufacturing and program management to coordinate the design and delivery schedules. All tools were delivered on time and performed as required.Lead mechanical design engineer responsible for three sets of fine positioning remotely adjustable bipods. Responsibilities included the conceptual design, detailed design, and fabrication of space qualified hardware. Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) in charge of troubleshooting several mechanism design issues during assembly and test of the first production unit for a program. Duties included designing and fixing a complex push-pull mechanism which saved the production hardware that was in fabrication and allowed the program to stay on cost and schedule. The mechanism successfully completed space qualification testing and is currently being used on multiple programs.

Lead Mechanical Design Engineer for the iNetworks division of Irvine Sensors. Responsible for the conceptual / detailed design of a super conducting router. Integrated a 4-Kelvin cryocooler, super conducting electronics package, vacuum housing, EMI shields, and cabling into a standard router rack.
