Monitored the operation and maintenance of 130 foot fishing vessel that produces $1,500,000 in gross profit annually. Supervised shipyard projects crucial for safe operation during upcoming winter fishing season. Co-managed $500,000 retrofit of vessel’s processing deck. Upgrade was completed within time and budget constraints. Coordinated labor requirements for six contractors. Supervised and provided daily job assignments to 10 trade workers. Laborers were given direction and assistance on various jobs throughout the vessel.

Managed sales and the relationship for the fourth largest wholesaler in the Craft Brands Alliance accounting for $395,000 in quarterly revenue. Territory sales increased 11% in the first year representing 340% above projections. Market trend for the same year was 2.5% growth. Resulted in $174,000 incremental revenue. Conducted monthly sales meetings and training programs at wholesaler and retailer level. Meetings consisted of a presentation, and a handbook that out lined monthly/yearly sales trends, new products, and new marketing items. Assisted in creating projections and budgets to ensure targeted profitability. Recapped manager with daily sales goals and weekly budget reports.

Conducted the day to day duties of managing a white water specific retail location. In addition to retail sales I also oversaw the rental department which accounted for roughly a third of the business revenue. This position would be instrumental in my development of a supervisor and my love for the outdoor sports industry.
