Brian’s practice focuses on the defense of corporations in maritime personal injury/product liability cases across the country. In addition to his experience in the defense of various product manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors against thousands of product claims of asbestos exposure, Brian has also successfully defended against personal injury and wrongful death claims stemming from exposure to benzene, mold, arsenic, and lead paint. He is a frequent author and speaker on the intersection of maritime and product liability issues. As a member of both the Virginia and Georgia bars, Brian is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of both states, as well as the federal courts of Colorado and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fourth, and Eleventh Circuits. After law school, Brian served as a law clerk to the Honorable James P. Jones, United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia.
