Built and ran one of the two recruiting teams at Zynga that, together, helped bring on board close to 3000 employees over the course of 3 1/2 years. Developed and implemented Zynga's first university relations and recruiting strategy which grew the overall engineering talent base and helped to drive Zynga's massive pre-IPO growth. In addition to building that original team, oversaw its evolution, and grew it to a team of 18 at its max. Mentored new managers who oversaw sub-teams within the org. Team was responsible for hiring hundreds of Computer Science and Engineering grads as well as MBAs and interns from top-ranked university engineering and business programs across the U.S. and Canada, for positions across the company. The team successfully hired highly talented Software Engineers and Product Managers in a hyper-competitive recruiting environment, both pre and post-IPO. Team also oversaw the management of the on-boarding and training programs of all of its hires - as well as longer-term integration to ensure success through first year of employment.
