CurrentProvide logistics and contingency support for the receipt, storage, sales, reutilization and disposal activities of up to $5M worth of materials for a combat support agency providing supplies and services to military forces worldwide.• Direct the requisition, validation, receipt, storage and inventory maintenance of 50K+ lines of military, medical, communications and construction parts; provided status updates, monitored backlog and tracked man-hours.• Determine logistical requirements… Show more Provide logistics and contingency support for the receipt, storage, sales, reutilization and disposal activities of up to $5M worth of materials for a combat support agency providing supplies and services to military forces worldwide.• Direct the requisition, validation, receipt, storage and inventory maintenance of 50K+ lines of military, medical, communications and construction parts; provided status updates, monitored backlog and tracked man-hours.• Determine logistical requirements including timeline, constraints and manpower through systematic risk assessments and analysis.• Prepare purchase orders, review proposals, negotiate prices, select vendors and coordinate delivery schedules. • Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations; coordinate transportation and warehouse activities, safety performance and quality assurance and control.• Track all purchases, confirm accuracy of deliveries, approve payment and audit records to ensure compliance with established guidelines; develop specifications for equipment, products and substitute materials.• Verify inventory computations against physical stock counts; investigate discrepancies and adjust errors.• Develop and execute plans for storage and arrangement of stock in accordance with agency regulations including configuration, setup, movement, rearrangement and traffic flow of material; assign product line locations. • Operate a variety of forklift trucks, hand tools and MHE ranging in capacity from 2K - 15K lbs., re-palletize and relocate property to staging areas and count/weight materials to ensure correct items/quantity for shipment.• Provide assistance to DOD and Federal agencies in screening and selecting property for reutilization; determine commercial value and downgrade property to scrap.• Maintain in-depth knowledge of rules, laws and regulations related to the receipt, storage, handling, transportation, sale and disposal requirements of hazardous and toxic materials and waste (HAZMAT).
