*Analyze, set up, and monitor inventory levels and EOQ’s for fabricated items. *Create work orders and release job packages to replenish inventory levels. *Review common, non-stock items to determine if they should be added to inventory, also to set additional planning parameters (make/buy, outsource operations, etc.). *Manage OS vendor quotes to subcontract fabricated items, where appropriate*Ensure perpetual inventory control process is working effectively, to maintain accurate inv. levels, ensure proper job costing, and support MRP. Implement process improvements as needed to improve accuracy and/or efficiency. *Manage monthly cycle counts of inventory items. Submit reports and monitor results for trends. Perform root-cause analysis for variances to resolve recurring issues. *Manage annual Physical Inventory with external auditors. Improve Cycle Count Process to the point where the P.I. can be eliminated. *Goal achieved in 2014.*Responsible to supervise, train, develop, and evaluate the Cycle Counter position, as a direct report. *Enter direct credit / transfer transactions for materials that may be returned to inventory or utilized on other projects. *Work with Cycle Counter, Operations, and Project Controls teams to salvage value from WIP at order closing (due to revisions, cancellations, planning errors, etc.). *Work with Engineering / Drafting teams to help drive standardization and automation in BOM entry / planning. *Perform monthly Warehouse & Yard Audits with Project Controls Manager. Identify improvement opportunities*ERP – In addition to daily use, as required by position, responsible for trouble-shooting and resolving issues encountered by multiple departments. *Note: 16+ years of experience with many facets of ERP system functionality has enabled me to find workarounds, navigate through new programs, and assist in multiple ERP implementations. Experience includes SyteLine 6, SyteLine 8, Encompix, and Epicor 10.

* Ensure accuracy of project manufacturing costs prior to order closing. Apply costs and process project closing and shipping transactions.* Extract and analyze data to measure supply chain efficiency / vendor performance. Create and distribute tracking reports to monitor progress.* Create and distribute ship reports and planned production schedules.* Responsible for all aspects of HIAXC’s inventory cycle counting program, including item cost analysis, conducting & recording physical counts, and fostering high inventory record accuracy across all departments through increased organization, process improvement, and root cause analysis of accountability errors. Submit monthly results and summary analysis for areas of concern.* Monitor cost accounts and balance / reclass as necessary to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation for month-end closing (financial reports). Coordinate order closing activities to ensure reports are distributed the first working day of each month.* Cost analysis for projects that fall outside expected profit margins.* Detect and repair order routing and BOM errors in HIAXC’s ERP system (SyteLine 8).* Field user questions related to SyteLine8, Microsoft Office programs, or other various programs and processes utilized at HIAXC.* Direct order cancellation process, serving as the “hub” for engineering and manufacturing information, verifying totals of applied and incoming costs, tracking order status, minimizing losses on all sides of the supply chain, and processing transactions to close cancelled projects.* Create detailed, illustrated work instructions for various positions. * Assist in the coordination of inventory transfers and ensure manufacturing cost accuracy for global joint venture projects.* Perform Quarterly Obsolescence Review of excess and slow-moving inventory.
