I serve as the primary contact and manager of the trade association's website development division, which serves our member companies. I am responsible for managing new website creation projects and other initiatives within our division. I handle most client communications and am responsible for the division's marketing efforts and content creation, new product development, proposal creation, and budget management. I serve as the direct supervisor of a customer service rep/office manager and two front-end website developers.

I provide marketing and communication support for more than 100 sales consultants for Gannett's Digital Employment Sales Center (DESC), which includes the USA TODAY Job Network and more than 100 newspapers and media outlets across the United States and United Kingdom. Primary responsibilities include developing comprehensive marketing actions for the nearly 50 local markets that our division oversees, as well as writing and designing brochures/fliers, presentations, social media posts, email, and other communications that help consultants educate employers about the company's job recruitment products and services. I also coordinate email campaigns through Exact Target and create presentations and support our national seminar series. In addition, I coordinate internal communications for our division, including communication planning and execution for the Vice President and Sales Directors. I am a direct supervisor to our Market Research Analyst and Marketing Coordinator. I serve as part of the DESC's Senior Leadership team, along with our Senior Vice President, Sales Directors, and other leadership staff, and contribute to the division's overall strategic planning.

Managed the internal communications of a national organization composed of nearly 150 independent Partner Firms. Wrote, designed and distributed communications (email, social media, white papers, newsletters) to organization's partner companies, as well as created materials for them to use with their clients / prospects. Also maintained content on several websites and assisted with the organization's tri-annual on-site events.

Managed a staff of two artists who created infographics and artwork for a daily mid-market newspaper in Southern California. Also participated in creating graphics, as well as wrote all text for graphics and supervised the editing process.

Designed daily and weekend pages; edited stories and wrote headlines.

Helped direct a staff of three reporters and two copy editors in producing the sports section of a daily newspaper. Duties included editing, scheduling, reporting/writing and page design / artwork.
