After 36 years and 8 months in the water industry (and 5+ with Weir Pumps Ltd) I have decided to call it a day. As of 1st March 2018 I have officially retired, and I'm looking forward to pursuing some of my other interests of which there are many.I would like to say a big thank you to everyone I have met during my time with Weir Pumps Ltd, Strathclyde Regional Council Dept. of Sewerage, Strathclyde Water Services, West of Scotland Water and Scottish Water, and to all those I have encountered through UK initiatives like the Pump Centre and WIMES. I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in all these endeavours and have met many interesting and knowledgeable people who helped make a rewarding occupation even more fulfilling. As I move into the next chapter of my life I hope for similar encounters and look forward to the challenges to come.Best regards to all,Brian J Spence
