As the Store. As the Store. Manager,, I was responsible for the Store profitability, directing activities related to merchandise flow, store maintenance, directing activities related to merchandise flow, store maintenance and sales support functions as well as leading, motivating and mentoring a commissioned sales team in executing sales strategies all while Interacting on a daily basis with internal support team of customer care, warehouse, showroom and regional leaders and supporting the sales team and building customer relationships and performing additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Store Managers are responsible for the complete day-to-day operation of Home Depot stores. They are responsible for maximizing store sales and profitability while working ethically and modeling Home Depot's core values. They accomplish this goal by developing strategies and objectives and leading a team of Associates in executing these strategies and objectives. They must ensure that the store is optimally stocked and merchandised and that all Customers are provided with excellent customer service. A Store Manager must have a comprehensive knowledge of Home Depot business, be able to use this knowledge to formulate goals and objectives and be capable of motivating his/her self and others to work as a team and accomplish these goals and objectives. Walk the store with District Managers, Merchants and others to stay proactive on merchandising issues.Planning: Develop and communicate store standards to associates.
