About Brian Stark
I have been a land conservation and habitat restoration professional for 30 years and have served in executive leadership roles for accredited land trusts in San Luis Obispo and Ojai, CA. I currently serve as COSCA Administrator overseeing the open space and trails network in the Conejo Valley (Thousand Oaks, CA), I love what I do because I care about people and the wonders of nature. Bringing the two together in a responsible way just makes our world a better place. I’m excited to be able to oversee the open spaces I have been enjoying every weekend since I moved to Thousand Oaks 15 years ago. When I'm not at work I'm usually outdoors in nature, working in my native garden, strumming a guitar, or playing bass with the Three Rivers Band.

Deputy Director
I held multiple positions in the organization including Deputy Director, Senior Project Manager, GIS Specialist, and probably more. My focus as Deputy Director was on developing a very active restoration program that included riparian, wetlands, and fisheries restoration as well as restoration of coastal dunes habitats.
