I began working here as a machine operator; I learned how to operate multiple machines necessary to tool the parts that were used to assemble the final product. Years later, I became the company's representative for customers in California once the business was moved to Utah. I would directly interact with customers to facilitate product delivery and pick-ups as well as offer informed answers to customer questions. Additionally, I would train new employees and assist the owner with odd-jobs at his request.

At AvantGuard I learned new systems that allowed me to take a large call volume and assist a high volume of customers with their security systems. I learned valuable communication skills from the training and numerous interactions over the phone. Additionally, I needed to know how to find pertinent information when necessary to assist the customer to the best of my ability.
