In 2000 I was pleased to join the team TCS Basys Controls, initially working in the marketing department, tasked to revamp the corporate catalog. My goal was to capitalize on the information I attained during this project, combine it with years of experience in restaurant, hotel and retail operations management to then further my career at TCS. This important task not only provided me with access to everyone within the company, it also gave me a perfect introduction into the controls field and energy management systems. Having completed this assignment within 6 months, I then helped implement the new National Account Sales Department at TCS as one of the first National Account Sales Managers. By the end of 2003 I became the leading Sales Manager at TCS which I held for the next 8 years. In 2009 I was asked by the company to take on the additional responsibilities as Director of National Accounts and quickly accepted that position. I had 4 National Account Sales Managers reporting to me, targeting the retail, retail banking, restaurant and convenience stores market.In January 2014, I accepted my new position as Vice President - Business Development. The purpose of this position is to create new markets and opportunities for TCS by expanding our service offerings through internal development and new partner relationships. I also continue to oversee some current, long-standing National Accounts as well as assist National Accounts sales.
