Mr. Brian Vierling serves as a Senior Construction Inspector and Project Quality Assurance Team Coordinator for Broaddus & Associates. In this role, he is responsible to ensure that daily quality control procedures by the general contractors and construction managers adhere to design specifications and approved QA/QC plans throughout the construction process. He interfaces with superintendents, project engineers, facilities management staff and city inspectors to ensure that project quality goals are achieved.Mr. Vierling is currently representing University Health by conducting daily field observations during construction of the Woman’s & Children’s Hospital program in San Antonio. He is responsible for overseeing the quality program during construction, turnover, and transition to occupancy of this $838 M urban hospital.Immediately prior to joining Broaddus, Mr. Vierling led the day-to-day management, as an Inspector for the State of Texas. He was responsible for Traffic Construction projects throughout 12 counties in the State of Texas for Texas Department of Transportation. He was responsible for ensuring conformance with TXDOT’s Construction Quality Standards and coordinated with 5 Construction Trade Companies, Engineers and State Officials, along with other TXDOT Area Offices to deliver a Safe Quality Construction project. Mr. Vierling worked over 25 years with CPS Energy as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Crane Operator and Forman. He managed over 100 personnel in building, inspecting Substations and Road and Traffic Signal Projects in the State of Texas. Mr. Vierling also served as a USN Seabee for 20 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Safety Officer overseeing 1,000+ personal responsible for maintaining safety per OSHA Standard.
