I was responsible for leading the Bible group including oversight of acquisitions, personal acquisitions, and project development. My responsibilities included setting revenue goals and strategies, leading acquisitions and pub board meetings, and preparing high-quality materials to facilitate the pub board decision-making process.

Baker Publishing Group was the North American distributor for Bibles published by Cambridge University Press. I led a team whose responsibilities included marketing, sales, inventory management, and financial reporting.

While in this position we developed a new web strategy for Baker Publishing Group and published a new corporate website and new websites for each division of Baker Publishing Group. In addition to building consensus around a web strategy that served many divisions and departments, I implemented the strategy by managing the programming, editorial, design.

I managed two direct mail catalogs, a continuity program for a commentary series, and email newsletters. My responsibilities included copywriting, print production, distribution, and financial reporting.

I assisted with sales, resource consulting, and customer service. I also provided trade-show support and edited copy for catalog and back cover copy.

In this internship I provided research and copyediting for a manuscript that would be published by Baker Books.
