Powder Coat Team Lead• Responsible for 5-10 team members daily watching for safety, environmental, and lastly production concerns. • Helping hand in a $1 million dollar cost saving project by increasing line speeds, figuring out the right manning to be efficient. • Helping hand on a successful project to increase the amount of parts that come off the powder coat line by increasing line speeds from 4 fpm to 7 fpm.• I personally rebuild all of our Nordson components guns, pumps, and spray modules not just the wear parts but the manifolds, iflow modules, and the replacement of the proportional valves (solenoid) and the vacuum generators. • Currently working on a project to save 31k a year by mixing a 3:1 ratio of black and waste powder and coating certain parts with this mixture. • Other Duties/responsibilities include equipment pm and servicing and managing Kanban (Parts we ship to sister companies)
