Executive Team Member responsible for enterprise level development of the provider network for Healthcare Highways, Inc. In this role, responsibilities include setting and executing strategies regarding the building or expansion of all provider networks. Network implementation, on-going management and servicing of providers are also a key responsibility of this job. Incentive aligned contracting strategies and other entrepreneurial concepts are a key focus area as well.

Joined start up Oscar Health as first Texas based employee. In this role, primary responsibilities included strategic planning, execution, implementation and on-going management of the provider network. In just under 7 months, developed ACA ready networks in San Antonio, DFW and Austin --- over 600 contracts representing more than 6,500 physicians, 175 ancillary and 40 hospitals. Developed ACO contracting strategy for Oscar which was deployed to several large physicians groups from concept to implementation in under 6 months. Directed provider operations, wrote credentialing, claim payment and quality policies for Texas.

Joined Cigna in 2000 in a role responsible for the Provider Networks in central Texas. Rapidly expanded responsibilities to include Houston. In 2006, promoted to RVP Central Region over provider networks in 12 states and in 2008 as Cigna reduced it's regional foot print from 4 regions to 3, the role expanded to 16 SE area states responsible for the provider network with more than 900 hospitals, 70,000 physicians and practitioners and numerous ancillaries. The SE network covered more than 40% of Cigna's domestic membership. In addition to managing this large network, Cigna had we serving key roles in assessing and integrating 2 large acquisitions - GreatWest Healthcare and Health Spring. My final year at Cigna found me running the international network from Antwerpen Belgium where the responsibilities of this role was managing all provider network activity outside of the US.
