Vandoit designs and produces custom-built adventure vans. As a new company in 2017, I started as the Finance Manager, working with customers to procure bank financing. I produced all sales-related paperwork and signed final deals with customers. After training 2 people to take over this growing role, I was promoted to Trade and Acquisition Manager, appraising and procuring vehicle trades and inventory purchases. This has allowed the company to grow in sales and increase inventory at our partner dealership. In addition, I manage transportation and assist with sales and fleet procurement.

Worked in multiple roles including Sales Manager, Lease Coordinator, Rental Specialist and Transportation Manager. Originally a van leasing company, I started the rental side of the business in 2009 by offering off-lease vans to individuals, churches and businesses for short-term rental. This grew into a multi-location rental business with thousands of clients. As Sales Manager, I was responsible for both buying and selling of van inventory. As Transportation Manager, I managed all nation-wide movement of inventory, by directing multiple transport companies and managing 15-20 employed drivers.

Freightquote is a shipping quote provider that works with leading transportation companies for setting up customer shipments. I was hired as a software quality assurance technician and tested software updates to the online website. I was promoted to IT Project Manager and co-designed a new sales lead system to turn leads into customers. I worked as the liaison between the sales team and the software developers and then trained the entire sales team on the use of the new system. This updated sales software resulted in a 30 percent increase in sales within months of its installation.

Supported the HR and payroll departments by doing custom programming and assisted in the conversion to a new payroll system. Joined the business analysis team and helped design updates to various internally developed software systems. I was self-taught in web design and development and eventually was the lead on the development of both the public internet website and internal employee intranet website.
